Mission Station
In 2008 our facility was damaged by Hurricane Ike. Disciples Volunteering helped us to repair our church and left us with an amazing Mission Station! We have two bunk rooms which accommodate 24 people, shower and laundry facilities, and meeting rooms. On air mattresses and cots we have accommodated groups of approximately 50. The church kitchen, fellowship hall, and sanctuary are also available for groups needing those facilities. We have hosted youth groups, mission trips, scouts, clergy retreats, and more. Contact us at fccdoctc@gmail.com for more information about using our facilities! If your group is looking for mission opportunities on the gulf coast, we can connect you with local organizations for service opportunities. Our proximity to Galveston Bay make us a great mission station for groups who are interested in care of creation and ocean theology. The current priority of our mission station is hosting Hurricane Harvey Recovery groups. You can learn more about our involvement with hurricane recovery here.
